There is nothing outside of yourself that can ever enable you to get better, stronger, richer, quicker, or smarter. Everything is within."

Jazz Always Sounds better to me in the Fall and winter.

BIOMusic has been a love of mine for as long as I can remember. Growing up in the Bay Area of California, I was surrounded by the sounds of Tupac, Too Short, E-40, and Spice-1. My father introduced me to the East Coast greats—Nas, Jay-Z, and Biggie—who quickly became some of my earliest influences. As a child, I even found myself at music video shoots with him, immersed in the culture.

In my early childhood and teenage years, I also spent significant time in Jersey City, New Jersey. Those experiences were just as influential, shaping not only my musical taste but also my style, giving me a unique perspective that blends West Coast and East Coast influences with a global ear. Over the years, I became a true student of hip-hop, expanding my listening to artists from across the country and around the world. I first began writing spoken word pieces, but soon felt compelled to pair my words with powerful production to deliver a complete and immersive experience.

I believe my music is a Renaissance of the hip-hop I grew up loving. Through my lyrics, I share my own life experiences as well as the stories of those around me, always with the hope of inspiring people to chase their dreams, push through adversity, and share their own gifts with the world. My artistry is rooted in passion and discipline—I work every day to sharpen my craft and create music that speaks to all five senses. Every A. WaL The Sultan record is designed to be more than just a song—it’s an experience.

My journey has included releasing The PREception (2012), Vol. 1: A Day in the Life (2014), two EPs (Get Far Vol. 1 & 2), and two collaborative albums (Elegance and Elegance Deluxe) with Devin The Ripper, along with numerous singles. I’ve had the privilege of touring with Benny The Butcher, Jay Worthy, and Boldy James, building my reputation on stage as well as in the studio.

Most recently, I was featured on Devin Denzel’s album The Test of Faith on the track “25 Dope Jam.” I also spent two months in Tokyo recording my upcoming project, The Jazzman’s Demise, which is scheduled for release in the winter of 2025.

With every step, I continue to grow as an artist, and I am committed to sharing music that resonates deeply, uplifts, and transforms. The world will be hearing much more from A. WaL The Sultan.

THE NAME

Names carry weight. A.WaL was given to me by my God-brother Dean, who condensed Ameer Walton into something sharper, something that would stand alone. In Arabic, Ameer means “Prince,” and from childhood my parents instilled in me the idea of walking in royalty, carrying myself with dignity and purpose. But “Prince” was already immortalized in music by one man, and I sought something different—something greater.

That’s when I found “Sultan.” Throughout history, Sultans were more than rulers—they were philosophers, warriors, generals, and kings all in one. They carried power, but also the burden of solitude. To be a Sultan was to live with a certain mystery, to wrestle with isolation while still being bound to the people. That duality spoke to me. It mirrored my own life: the thinker and the fighter, the man of the crowd and the man apart.

A. WAL THE SULTAN is not just a name, it’s a persona, a vision, and a legacy. It is the embodiment of my journey—royalty redefined, philosophy in rhythm, and music as both weapon and wisdom.

The Court: Decrees & Chronicles

The Proclamation

Since the last time we spoke…

I've lived. I've loved. I've stressed. I've reflected. I've smiled. I've elevated.

I've watched people I hold dear transition to the next life. I've seen relationships shift, some for the better, others vanish into the noise. And the world — my world — became louder than ever. So loud I had to leave.

I went east. Far east. Tokyo, Japan.

After 10+ hours in the air, my mind was clearer than it had ever been — as clear as the endless Pacific waters I flew over. Excitement, nervousness, and curiosity gripped me as I stepped through migration, grabbed my bus ticket from Narita to Shinjuku, and entered a city alive with contradictions.

Tokyo moved like a living organism — towering billboards, flashing cars, spotless streets, quiet efficiency. For a second, I thought of New York. But this was different. Sharper. A mirror reflecting what a city could be if chaos surrendered to intention. When I saw the building-sized Godzilla towering over Shinjuku, I knew: this would be my battleground.

For two months, I lived as a lone traveler, meeting strangers, stacking experiences, and recording a body of work born out of isolation and deep reflection. To be on the other side of the world, far from everything familiar, was the test I needed.

Because there is a power in solitude. A strength in choosing silence over noise. And I knew — the man who returned would not be the same.

Attention Ladies and gentlemen,

Welcome to the Sultan Train.

This will be some what of a quick trip,

but remember,

in this realm ,

we’re here for a good time not a long time.

With that being said,

Try to keep your seatbelts on at all times,

do not move about the cabin while the train is in teleportation motion. We will be moving at lightning speed; However ,you all are responsible adults, treat it like an airplane.

If you have to get up,hold the seats firmly and keep your ears glued to the speakers.

Restrooms are in the back.

I have emergency exits on both sides of the vehicle.

If anything was to happen, you pull that red handle and push out.

I also have a fire extinguisher up front.

We will not be needing any of that ,because we will reach all of our Destinations safely.

Now raise your hand if you’re not here?

I present to you the presence  of a man who’s unshaken by adversity,

Supported his brother when he seen the worst in me

He’s proven that

Everything uttered shall be accomplished ,

While we focused and avoided the dumb shit

We are Paying homage to this royal decree

Authorized by The Sultan,himself.

One of his Greatest gestures was creating an Image of Prosperity to be held in the minds of those alike.

Men,Women,Children,teens,deans,
dogs, cats, and feasents, fowls ,despite the strongholds of a racist America.

On the scene ,In the Club ,We Tear it Up.

A pocket  only containing 50 cents being held up by a Mafia of

36 thousand people………

They rob because of poverty, they steal, because of injustice, and they kill because of of the mental illness contributed to it

On this train ride you will consume

Messages that get you full ,fed ,and hardy

Causing Moods to swing like stars at a Sean John Party

Universal atmospheres that Offset bracelets I mean hand cuffs, made by Carti /Cardi.

You need  a special instrument for all of these(intended)
purposes

A tool, uniquely designed

to unhook the mind

from worthlessness (unworthiness).

Who will be the ones that breaks the supply chains of injustice,

Who will be the one that comforts the cold and rocky ?

To handle Big Business,?

Burly ,Bold ,and Stocky.

We Ride because not only do we believe but we have profound knowledge and foresight!

Who will  fulfill the Prophecy ?

Will we fulfill the Prophecy ?

The First Train,to find out!
